Ok. So they werent REALLY vampires, but rather blood techs.
We went for Gabe's blood draw today so they can do his food allergy tests. He has HORRIBLE veins. She had me LAY on top of him and a nurse hold his arm as she stuck a needle in him where she "thought" there was a vein and started just digging around. He cried and I tried to keep my mouth shut and sing at the same time.
She ended up having me sit in the chair holding him and she pricked his finger and "milked" it for blood. I had him between my legs and had them crossed to hold him down, I also had his torso pinned. He screamed the WHOLE time and you could tell it was wearing him out because towards the end, he just whimpered as tears rolled down his face.
I just kept telling myself, "This is better than finding out as he goes into shock that he's allergic to something". I still felt miserable.
It takes at least 2 days to get the results, so we should know by Friday. At the very latest, we'll know on Tuesday when we go for his ear check up.
